Tesla’s Austin factory to launch affordable next-generation crossover next year

In Texas, San Antonio Express-News reported that Tesla ’s factory near Austin will be the launch pad for a more affordable next-generation crossover by late 2025, CEO Elon Musk said. Tesla said it will start production of the new EV model in the second half of 2025. After beginning production in Texas, Musk said the new model will eventually be built at a plant Tesla is planning in Northern Mexico and another outside North America to be picked later this year, the report added.
