Tesla Cybertruck and Model Y production is ‘noticeably up’ at Giga Texas factory

In Texas, Teslarati reported that Tesla continues to ramp up Cybertruck production at its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas. The reported cited an observer who said that output for both the electric pickup and Model Y seems to have increased. Drone operator and longtime Giga Texas observer Joe Tegtmeyer Tegtmeyer said in a post on X that production of both the Cybertruck and Model Y looked “noticeably up” during a recent drone flight, adding that the outbound lot was very active. He also estimates that Tesla is putting out eight or nine Cybertrucks per hour. The report noted that Cybertruck production is expected to continue ramping up over the next year or so, after Tesla began non-employee deliveries of the vehicle just earlier this month.
