Minnesota to vote on Summit Carbon Solutions’ pipeline application Dec. 12

In Minnesota, the North Dakota Monitor newspaper reports that Minnesota Public Utilities Commission expects to vote December 12 on Summit Carbon Solutions’s planned 28-mile segment in Otter Tail and Wilkin counties to connect Green Plains ethanol plant at Fergus Falls to the planned carbon dioxide pipeline. The company says it has secured easements on 89% of the planned route. The environmental impact statement was said to have been adequate by an administrative law judge but has received criticism and pushback from a local environmental group.
