LG Electronics aims to produce 10,000 EV chargers per year in Texas

In Korea, Pulse reported that LG Electronics’ future Texas facility aims to produce 10,000 EV chargers annually. The company recently revealed its plan to build a charging station hub in the city of Fort Worth, Texas. According to the report, this marks the South Korean company’s first venture in establishing an overseas production facility for EV chargers. In Korea, its subsidiary, HiEV Charger, has started producing EV chargers at its Pyeongtaek plant in Gyeonggi Province. An LG Electronics spokesperson highlighted the strategic selection of Texas, emphasizing considerations such as logistics efficiency and the utilization of existing facilities to achieve synergy effects.
