Florida Power Power & Light to inaugurate green hydrogen project by end-2023

In Florida, WPTV reported that Florida Power & Light is four months away from inaugurating a new green hydrogen project.

The project, currently under construction in the Okeechobee County, will produce green hydrogen to help offset natural gas and power up homes.

The facility broke ground last October, while the equipment arrived earlier this summer. The report noted that the plant is expected to begin producing green hydrogen for the first time in December.
