Brazilian corn ethanol production seen hitting 16B liters by 2032

In Brazil, Platts reports a Citi Investment Bank report says corn ethanol production in Brazil is set to reach 16 billion liters by 2032, nearly doubling from the 9.5 billion liters expected for 2024/25, which is already a big jump from the previous season of 6.3 billion liters. Production began in 2012/13 with just 40 million liters. Twelve corn ethanol plants are currently under construction, while 22 are currently operational and another nine have received their permits to begin building.
