Crocs latest shoe includes biobased Croslite material
In Colorado, Crocs has launched a new style of slip-on shoe made of neoprene, mesh and biobased Croslite material.
According to Footwear News, the new Echo Storm “blur[s] the line” between clog and sneaker. The shoe’s molded upper is made from Croslite and is reminiscent of Crocs’ simple—and immensely popular—original design, but has Neoprene netting for a snugger fit. Dow, Inc. has been supplying Croslite material to Croc for several years.
Kith, a streetwear and lifestyle brand with locations in major cities, will be the first store to sell Echo Storm. The shoe will retail for $100 and also be available through Kith’s website, beginning September 15.
