European Energy opens Texas office

In the UK, Renews.biz reported that Danish company European Energy has opened its new office in Austin, Texas. According to the report, European Energy has more than 1GW of solar capacity under development in Texas. The company is also exploring investments in green hydrogen and e-methanol in the state, according to the report. Last year, European Energy announced its intention to produce green methanol to supply Danish shipping company Maersk Shipping’s new methanol fueled transport ships from American produced sources by 2025/2026. The European company also has the ambition to develop 10GW of renewable energy projects in the US by 2026.
