NextEra Energy reports net income of $1.21 billion in Q3
In Florida, NextEra Energy reported a net income of $1,219 million in the third quarter of the year, down compared to a net income of $1,696 million for the third quarter of 2022.
“NextEra Energy continued its strong execution during the third quarter and has delivered adjusted earnings per share growth of approximately 10.8% through three quarters,” said John Ketchum, chairman, president and chief executive officer of NexEra Energy.
“NextEra Energy Resources had its best renewables and storage origination quarter in its history, adding approximately 3,245 megawatts to its backlog, which now totals over 21 gigawatts, net of projects placed in service,” the executive said.
